Family Fitness
Family fitness is a fun and healthy way to strengthen family bonds. It is always a fantastic way of avoiding obesity in both children and adults. As you know, a high percentage of the population is overweight and in many cases it runs in the family. If the parents are overweight there is a good chance the children will be too. This is often due to lifestyle and diet; something which can thankfully be adjusted.
So what exercises can you do with the family?
Try family Pilates or yoga for something different. Pilates and yoga won't make you lose large amounts of weight but it’s a great relaxing program and one that lifts your confidence.
After yoga try out tennis fitness for families. It's cheap to hire a tennis court for the afternoon, pack some drinks and play some friendly games with the family.
Tennis is fantastic for weight loss too as you're constantly moving around.
Exercise for kids is vital if they are to grow up healthy. There are family gyms where kids can participate in their own classes whilst the parents do the adult classes.
There are also many family health clubs which have swimming pools and other family lifestyle and fitness facilities.
